Carry out oceanographic observation on board research vessel and analyze samples and data obtained during research cruises in the laboratories.
Supervise the work of research officers attached to.
Initiate and conduct research in the field of biological oceanography.
Prepare research reports and paper for publication.
Any other duties assigned to in connection with the work of NIO.
Arabian Sea
Gathering information and data collection with respect to biological oceanography/ marine biology. Data compilation and Interpretation of results and report writing.
Mostly work in MS Office like MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Statistical Software Primer. R-language.
