Activities

We are a research unit of Lisbon NOVA University and Coimbra University Centre for Functional Ecology that uses archival research and robotic Autonomous Underwater Vehicles to search for Underwater Cultural Heritage (UCH), such as historical shipwrecks, in order to use it as a driver for sustainable Blue Tourism and Ocean Biodiversity. We conduct such projects in Portugal (mainland, Azores and Madeira archipelagos), Mozambique and in Sharjah Emirate (United Arab Emirates).
