Research, education and conservation projects. Education is conducted through our Marine Museum exhibitions open to public . The Museum has more than 1.000 square meters of exhibitions. The education department conducted the Education Program "The museum goes to to school" where mores than 50.000 students from all schools of Nueva Esparta state have attend this program. Conservation projects and research is conducted by a small Research unit focused in taxonomy an ecology. The Museum has a small collection where fishes, crustaceans and Mollusks are the main groups represented.
