Activities
Regular participation in sampling surveys in the Indian EEZ (since January, 2018) on-board India's only Fisheries Oceanography Research Vessel Sagar Sampada involving collection of deep-water megafauna with focus on decapod crustaceans, followed by taxonomic identification, morphological description supplemented with morphometrics and meristics, compilation of voucher specimen database duly submitted to IndOBIS database, indexing of marine fauna (checklist) of the Indian EEZ based on published sources (existing check-lists, taxonomic monographs, catalogues and observational papers).
